Away to the Malvern 8-a-side tournament

12 of the U12s took a trip down to Great Malvern to take part, for the first time, in the annual national 8-a-side tournament. With 3 of the dads trying their hands at coaching, it was going to be an interesting day...
The tournament started with a round-robin of 4 games of 2 halves of 7 minutes each. In our group we were to meet Sheffield and Norbury on the astro-turf, followed by matches against Cheadle Hulme and Heaton Mersey on grass. Would we do enough to get through to the next round...?
