In the final game of this season, the boys in blue rang the changes trying out different positions, and Matthew was back in goal. After a good start in the first quarter, the Blackbirds got more shots on target than us, to take the game.

Away at Cheadle Hulme
Whilst our opponents, and their score, was the same as last week, the game was totally different.
In spite of the relentless rain, this didn't dampen the boys' spirit today, and they kept fighting till the last whistle.
The goal tally was our best this year - with 7 finding their mark. One of which came from Thomas - out of nets and keen to get a goal.
With a few regulars absent today, Joe and Matt made their debut after a few weeks of training -welcome and well done boys.
Final score: C/Hulme 18, Stockport 7

Plate semi-final vs Cheadle Hulme
It was disappointing for the Junior section that our result means that we won't be playing alongside our 1st team at the Flags Final, for the Plate. But hey, there's always next year...

Away at Rochdale
The first half of today's game wasn't the boys' best really, with Rochdale getting all the goals.
The second half was better with the boys trying harder, and getting 2 goals in the net.
We need to dig deep and find the sparkle (or the guy in space!) for next week's Plate game though...
Come on U12s, we know you can do it!
